Later on he has undergone further training in modern and contemporary dance (Flying Low and Passing Through) and material arts (Capoeira, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) at an international level. He holds a master’s degree in modern dance teaching (Hungarian Dance Academy) beside he is a StrongFirst kettlebell instructor and Functional Movement Screen specialist. He has been teaching contemporary dance technique and improvisation for more than a decade at institutions such as the Hungarian Dance Academy, the University of Theatre Arts Budapest, and the Budapest School of Contemporary Dance. As a dancer, he has worked with various companies and artists such as the Compagnie Pal Frenak, Cirque du Soleil, Krétakör Theater, Hungarian National Theater, Anna Réti, Claudio Stellato, Amos Ben-Tal, Rui Horta Stage Works, Nigel Charnock, Eva Duda, Rosana Hribar and Gregor Lustek. Ujvari strives to encourage his students to deepen their practice and to see movement as a holistic language in which they can express themselves socially, physiologically and physically. His personal intention is to see the human body as a collection of memories that can form not just a temple but also a playground.
